Our History

Before the packaging, the aroma, and the cup, there’s a story that doesn’t appear on the labels. Every step of this journey smells of freshly roasted coffee, damp earth, and bold decisions. Behind each bag there is much more than grains: effort, culture, tradition and a deep commitment to those who cultivate the land and keep this passion alive.

We are Ariane and Jordy , mother and son, united by a common purpose: to rescue the essence of authentic coffee and share it directly, without intermediaries or artifice. We travel to farms, primarily in Colombia, but also in Ecuador and Mexico, listening attentively to the coffee farmers, learning from their wisdom, and giving them a voice. This project was born with the clear intention of doing things differently, seeking a closer, more human, sincere, and sustainable relationship.

In a world saturated with empty marketing, we believe in genuine commitment. Our coffee is not just a product; it’s a bridge connecting cultures, stories, and dreams. That’s why we work exclusively with single-origin coffees, without blends or additives. Our coffees are 100% natural, with no preservatives or artificial flavorings, and each bag bears the human face of those who grow, roast, and package them. We guarantee ethical and sustainable production that protects and supports coffee-growing families.

Fair trade for us is not just a slogan, it is the foundation of everything we do.

There are no intermediaries between the farming families and us, only transportation and customs. This ensures that the benefit goes directly to those who work the land with dedication and love.
We promote responsible and sustainable agricultural practices, total transparency at every step of the process, and coffee that tastes of its land, its climate, and its history.

The first spark

Jordy travels to Colombia for the first time. What begins as an adventure transforms into something deeper: an encounter with the warmth of its people, the humility of the countryside, and the unforgettable aroma of freshly harvested coffee. Amidst mountains, rivers, and magic, an intuition is born: most people haven’t tasted real coffee. And that has to change.

2022
The idea is sown.

After a second six-month stay in Colombia, the mission became clear: to restore authenticity to coffee. Together with her mother, Ariane, they began visiting farms, listening to coffee growers, and working briefly on three of them (in Cundinamarca, Huila, and Sucumbíos, Ecuador). The vision for a more human, direct, and unpretentious project was born.

Temptation Coffee

A mother and son officially founded Oscura Tentación Coffee in Belgium, a family business dedicated to single-origin coffees, without blends or industrial processing. Natural coffees, with a story, a face, and an authentic flavor.

2024 – First steps,
great impact

They start with coffees from Colombia (Huila and Valle del Cauca), then Ecuador is added, and in September Mexico joins the list. In May, they participate in their first trade fair. In November, their story appears for the first time in the local and regional press. The Belgian community begins to discover the true flavor of Latin American coffee… and the story behind each bag.
